Giridih : Our old rickshaw puller in Giridih is trying to extort money from us - please tell them to stop !!

I want to bring to the attention of all the residents of Giridih that an old rickshaw puller and his family who was taking us to school on his rickshaw during 1983-1986 and did some odd jobs about the house while I was studying in Carmel School is trying to extort money from us by spreading false stories and trying to defame us. They are able to do so because some politicians and people with political connections are instigating them. These people and their supporters stand at street corners and make objectionable remarks, follow us everywhere and are stealing from us, instigate vendors to overcharge from us and openly demand money from us. This rickshaw puller's name is Hari Lal Ram and he used to live in a place called Chaitadih in Giridih. My parents had helped him to purchase the rickshaw and now after so many years, this rickshaw puller and his family are harassing us by demanding money. Through this forum, I would like to ask people in Giridih to get these people to stop harassing us and also caution them against this rickshaw puller and his family. They had no problems with us all these years and suddenly from 2006 onwards, they have started trying to extort money from us. This rickshaw puller's brother Babu Lal ram is the main trouble maker and he has joined hands with some politicians and anti social elements to extract money from us and making threats to us. We are respectable people, my father was heading the NSSO in Giridih in the period 1981-1985 and my mother,Mrs. Annamma Pillai taught in Carmel School from 1981-1992. I want to know why this rickshaw puller and his family are trying to extract money from us and spreading false stories about us when for so many years they did not have any problem. Hope the right thinking people of Giridih will be able to stop this problem. I want to say that we have no connection with the rickshaw puller and his family and if they continue to demand money, we will take strong action against them.
