I love my giridih town but this time town makes very dirty in all fields like corruption, traffic problem, pollution, water problem, road problem etc. and nobody improves this town. so my point of view nobody votes to any candidate in election becoz every politician looks himself at first.Vote to only right person.

it is really nice that we the giridians love our Giridih very much, but I think it is by speak only. beacuse while I visit my giridih really I feel pain, becoz the town lost its beauty,we can't visit usri false, roads are become so dirty, Mohan pur area has became so dirty due to iron factories.there is no any proper communacation, while reacing to Giridih u would be stuckup eitheer in Dhanbad or parasnath or madhupur or rajdhanwar. I think Giridih has become most negleted area in whole India. As being educated people of Giridih we should think for the deevelopment of our Giridih, if we have affection then we should make our town beautiful & clean and also lively once again.

I lived my childhood in this beautiful little twon. The nostalgic essence is so strong I can almost feel the dust on my feet as we run around to play marbles and gulli danda. I lived in locality called Bavontoli. The years were 1963-1975. Such a beautiful memories. I am glad that somebody has put up a website, May be I would connect with some people from there of that era

Most respected and beloved Ms Benu!! Do I need to 'guess' about you? You lit the spark of joyous learning in me and taught me how to be competitive without malice, nay, while willingly helping fellow students! They don't make Teachers like you anymore! I bow to you and wish you Merry Christmas and a peaceful, healthy and fulfilling New Year!
Ever your student - Ali

Don't know if this will reach Ali Kazmi. Ali your message is wonderful . It took me back to my childhood. You mentioned Khandoli, Usri Madhupur etc. Brought back so many memeories. You mentioned your teachers at Carmel and I am one of them. I left Giridih after I got married. My wedding album still has pictures of my students . You are in it.
Guess who I am!

Sometimes in interview, i faced this type of question "Tell me about Giridih".
But that time i could not elaborate easly, bcoz i had not much knowledge about girdih.
But now i am so excited that i have adequate knowlege about giridih and i daily visit giridih on Internet.

Ohh . . I'm overcome by the surge of emotions, the onrush of memories! From "LKG" to Senior Cambridge (ISC) at Carmel School; the "gabbo" and "piddo"; elocution & essays, drama and debates; the escapades down the Usri; stealing fruits from gardens; cycling trips to Parasnath, Khandoli and the Water Falls; the Cricket, Football & Atheletics; the quaint railway station and the train journeys to Maheshmunda and Madhupur; the Durga Puja and Saraswati Puja pandals; the teachers and schoolmates; the tribals and bullock-carts - ohh . . . to go down memory lane! How the world's changed! And today this marvel of technology, this web, the Internet connects me back with the smells, sounds, sights and serenity of lovely Giridih! I salute the creators and sponsors of this website and wish them good luck to keep it going & growing!

It gives me immense pleasure to see that my giridih has made its entry in the web world by having its own website. Now I can make a virtual stroll as and when I feel the need to take a feel of being in my birthplace.

I am amazed, it is really hard to believe that our small town has its own website. I am glad that people are working towards making this place so good. I only have a wish that the ppl behind this project should have a local employment and matrimonial section. Wishing you all the best.
